This policy explains what information Hearth Digital collects when you visit hearthdigitalsolutions.com, how that information is used, and who it's shared with. I've kept it in plain language because nobody enjoys reading legal walls of text.
What I Collect
The only personal information this site collects is what you voluntarily provide through the contact form. That includes your name, email address, phone number (optional), and whatever you write in the message field.
I do not collect information passively through cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools. There are no cookie banners on this site because there are no cookies to consent to. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated and you'll see the appropriate notice.
How I Use Your Information
When you submit the contact form, your information is used for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry. That's it. I read your message, I reply, and we go from there. Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with marketers. It is never used for advertising or added to any mailing list.
Third Parties
Two third-party services are involved in how this site operates:
Resend is the email delivery service that sends your contact form submission to my inbox. When you submit the form, your name, email, phone number, and message are transmitted through Resend's servers so the email reaches me. Resend processes this data solely to deliver the message and does not use it for any other purpose. You can review their privacy practices at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Vercel hosts this website. Like any web host, Vercel's servers automatically log basic connection data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. This is standard for serving web pages and is not something I access or use for tracking. You can review their privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
No other third-party services receive your personal information through this site.
Cookies and Tracking
This site does not currently use cookies, tracking scripts, or analytics platforms. No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no retargeting. If I add analytics in the future, I will update this policy before doing so.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions are delivered to my email and retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and handle any project that follows. I do not maintain a separate database of form submissions. If you'd like your information deleted, just send me an email and I'll take care of it.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at anyone under the age of 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the contact form, please reach out and I will delete it promptly.
Your Rights
You have every right to ask what information I have about you, request that it be corrected, or ask that it be deleted entirely. I'm one person running a small business, so there's no bureaucratic process here. Just email me and I'll handle it directly.
Changes to This Policy
If anything about how this site handles data changes, I'll update this page and note the new date at the top. For significant changes, I'll make a reasonable effort to notify anyone affected.
